Milling other wood?
We just bought 25 acres SW of Gainesville and your company has come up again and again in conversation as we contemplate our next step. We won't be building for a few years... but there is lots to do in the meantime, including touring your mill right? My question is .... our property has some huge 70+ year old oak trees on it... a few of which will need to be removed to create a building area. Can this wood be milled (by you or someone else - if not you do you have a local reference) for use in the log home as flooring or trim? Also, we will not be available on August 19th for your model tour... do you have one planned in September?

We will be glad to find someone to help you with the milling of your oak trees, that is a great way to bring some of the past into your new home. Our next scheduled seminar at this point is October 21.
