As the owner/builder of a 24 yr. old BK Cypress log home, I can attest to the performance and reliability of this company's product and friendly service. After retiring from the Marines in 1986, I designed and built a 3600 SF log home in Monticello, FL, with a great deal of technical assistance (and patience) from Jim Keaton. I had researched the industry nationwide, including Canada for over a year, even attending a log home convention in Denver. I settled on BK Cypress because of their superior product and down home friendly service. After 24 years, the cypress logs continue to perform as new, with virtually no checking or settling.
